Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Park

Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs. A safari briefing session with our tour consultant then drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley - Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness.

It is the African safari of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you trail the Big 5 ie Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara wildebeest camp or Mara Sopa Lodge for medium accommodation.

Day 2-3: Masai Mara - Game reserve - Mara River

Breakfast then l head out with a picnic lunch to the Mara River hoping to see a dramatic river crossing or two, It is quite some sight to see the massed herds take a leap of faith into the Mara or Talek rivers with the Nile crocs lying in wait for them. Return to the camp or Lodge. Day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 trailing the wildebeest migration Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National park

Breakfast then drive Lake Nakuru National park to arrive in good time for lunch at Flamingo hill lodge afternoon game drives a the scenic park famed for numerous species of bird life especially the pink flamingoes. Dinner and overnight stay at lake Nakuru golden palace or Flamingo Hill Camp or Similar.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

Early breakfast then drive to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Have delicious breakfast, sight seeing and game viewing on-route down the slopes of the Great Rift with an en route stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley at the view point to arrive Nairobi at approximately late in the afternoon. (Optional dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant: US$ 45 per person).
